Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has posted a 17 per cent year-on-year rise in the net profit of July-September quarter of financial year (FY) 2021-22. The rise in net profit has been recorded on the back of increase in gas sales volumes. Net profit during the quarter came in at Rs 1.59 billion against Rs 1.36 billion profit in the same period during FY 2020-21. While revenue from operations was up 56 per cent at Rs 6.87 billion, sales volume during the quarter stood at 2.09 million standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) against 1.79 mmscmd at the end of first quarter.

During the second quarter of FY 2021-22, ATGL commissioned 20 new compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing stations, taking the total network strength to 244. Further, it added 18,659 new connections to help cross the 500,000 mark for piped natural gas (PNG) connections.

ATGL has been developing city gas distribution networks in various parts of the country to supply PNG to the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors and CNG to the transport sector.
