The Assam Cabinet approved the Assam Compressed Biogas (CBG) Policy 2026. It has been developed in line with the national model state CBG policy.
The Commissionerate of Industries and Commerce has been designated at the State Nodal Agency, who would also be responsible for notifying the policy and managing the single window portal.
