Advance Infrastructure Private Limited (AIPL) has secured a contract worth Rs 768.21 million for laying and associated works under the Gurdaspur-Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline (GJPL) Project from GAIL (India) Limited.
The scope of work involves laying of pipeline for Part-A Punjab (Gurdaspur) section of GJPL Project consisting of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction including horizontal directional drilling (HDD), installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning of 12” inch x 77 km (approx.) long natural gas pipeline and associated station facilities.
The duration of the contract is six months for mechanical completion and two months for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
The project involves laying, building, operating or expanding a 12”, 152 km long natural gas pipeline from Gurdaspur (Punjab) to Jammu through Pathankot, Kathua and Samba having system capacity of 3.10 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd) with extra capacity of 0.775 mmscmd.
