AG&P has earmarked a massive investment of Rs 85 billion to expand its compressed natural gas (CNG) retail station network in India. The company is planning to expand its network from the existing number of 12 CNG stations to over 1,500 stations by 2030.
AG&P Pratham, the Indian arm of AG&P group will be serving six out of 12 districts in Tamil Nadu declared by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. On December 4, 2020 AG&P Pratham opened its first two CNG stations in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu and inaugurated the state’s first natural gas mother station in January 2021.
