In a notable development, AG&P Pratham has commissioned one decompression unit (DCU) each at Arakalagud in Hassan district and Nagathavalli in Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB)- Hassan, Karnataka.
Besides, it has inaugurated the first domestic piped natural gas (D-PNG) connection at Arakalagud.
The Arakalagud DCU will supply PNG in two wards of the town while KIADB DCU will supply natural gas to industrial establishments in Hassan special economic zone (SEZ) corridor.
AG&P Pratham holds 25-year exclusive rights from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to develop city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure and supply gas in more than 278,000 square km area across its authorised geographical areas (GAs).
