Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) has submitted proposal to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to lay, build, operate or expand five natural gas pipeline projects in Assam.
These include:
AGCL- BVFCL- HP Natural Gas Pipeline Project: The project includes laying, building, operating and expanding 20”/16”, 0.965 km/ 23.801 km natural gas pipeline from Oil India Limited’s (OIL) offtake point in Duliajan to BVFCL pig trap point in Namrup with maximum system capacity of 2.1 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd).
OIL- BVFCL- LP Natural Gas Pipeline Project: The project includes laying, building, operating and expanding 20”/16”, 1.418 km/ 24.475 km natural gas pipeline from Oil India Limited’s (OIL) offtake point in Duliajan to metering point at BVFCL, Namrup with maximum system capacity of 2.1 mmscmd.
Duliajun- Namrup (BVFCL) Natural Gas Pipeline Project: The project includes laying, building, operating and expanding 14”, 24.55 km natural gas pipeline from pig trap point at AGCL compressor station in Duliajan to BVFCL pig trap point in Namrup with maximum system capacity of 1.21 mmscmd.
Kathalguri- NEEPCO Natural Gas Pipeline Project: The project includes laying, building, operating and expanding 22”/20”/16”, 6,314 km/ 0.64 km/ 0.486 km natural gas pipeline from Kathalguri OCS to NEEPCO pig trap point with maximum system capacity of 1.86 mmscmd.
Wilton (Tengakhat)- Madhabpur Natural Gas Pipeline Project: The project includes laying, building, operating and expanding 12”, 21.483 km natural gas pipeline from OIL’s offtake point in Wilton to Madhapur pig trap point with maximum system capacity of 0.74 mmscmd.
