Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) won contract from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for bio- compressed natural gas (CNG)/ compressed biogas (CBG) plant at Pirana/Gyaspur in Ahmedabad on September 5, 2023.
The scope of work includes designing, building, financing and operating bio-CNG/CBG plant on public private partnership (PPP) model. The plant will have production capacity of 500 tonnes per day (tpd)
ATGL has been developing city gas distribution (CGD) networks in various parts of the country to supply piped natural gas to the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors and compressed natural gas (CNG) to the transport sector. Currently, ATGL has 467 CNG stations and supplies piped cooking gas to around 0.72 million consumers across the country.
