Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) is planning to build over 1,800 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations across the country in the coming seven to ten years. It is likely to entail an investment of Rs 180 billion to Rs 200 billion.

ATGL has been developing city gas distribution (CGD) networks in various parts of the country to supply piped natural gas to the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors and CNG to the transport sector. Currently, ATGL has 460 CNG stations and supplies piped cooking gas to around 0.7 million consumers across the country.
