In a notable development, Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has successfully installed its first piped natural gas (PNG) connection in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. ATGL’s first PNG customer in Bhilwara is Welworth Polymers. In a bid to promote PNG in Bhilwara, ATGL has commissioned 1.6 km of medium-density polyethylene pipeline near the city gas station in the region.
ATGL has been developing city gas distribution (CGD) networks in various parts of the country to supply PNG to the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors and compressed natural gas to the transport sector. The company has already set up CGD networks in Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat, Faridabad in Haryana and Khurja in Uttar Pradesh.
