Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has granted authorisation to GAIL (India) Limited for the development of Gurdaspur- Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline Project. Bids for the same were invited by the PNGRB in January 2023.
The project involves laying, building, operating or expanding a 12”, 160 km long natural gas pipeline from Gurdaspur (Punjab) to Jammu through Pathankot, Kathua and Samba having system capacity of 3.10 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd) with extra capacity of 0.775 mmscmd.
