Government of Maharashtra (GoM) is planning to set up city gas distribution (CBG) plants and has directed the formation of a task force to identify suitable locations and implement projects in line with the state’s CBG policy.
The state has asked officials to explore CBG project development in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) area, Vasai-Virar, Mira-Bhayandar and Kalyan-Dombivli, and Hinjawadi and Chakan in Pune.
