Indian Oil and Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) is planning to expand Piped Natural Gas (PNG) network in Prayagraj. The expansion is expected to provide new PNG connections to about 3,00,000 households.
About 800 km of PNG pipeline has been laid, including 600 km in urban areas and 200 km in rural regions. The company aims to lay 200 to 250 km of pipeline by 2028. It aims to lay 130 km pipeline in FY 2026-27 and 120 km in FY 2027-28.
Pipeline laying works in Naini have commenced.
