In a recent development, THINK Gas has launched a Geographic Information System (GIS) enabled integrated network availability platform. It integrates geospatial data into a map and manages Piped Natural Gas (PNG) infrastructure across the company’s licensed areas. It allows customers to instantly check the availability of PNG connections in their locality and apply seamlessly, making access to PNG easier amid growing demand.

Customers can access the GIS-enabled registration interface through the THINK Gas website. The platform enables users to search for their location via address, latitude/longitude, or by pinning it on a map. With a single click on “Check Availability,” users can view PNG service status in their area and proceed with the application.

Once an application is submitted and documents are verified, PNG connections are provided within 30 days. In areas where services are not yet available, customers can register their interest by sharing their contact details, allowing THINK Gas to reach out as infrastructure expands.

THINK Gas, the merged brand of AG&P Pratham and THINK Gas holds 19 CGD licenses awarded by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), covering 49 districts across 10 states: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
