The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has issued a public consultation document (PCD) for tariff review of Assam Gas Company Limited’s (AGCL) Assam Natural Gas Pipeline Network (ANGPN), under the provisions of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Natural Gas Pipeline Tariff) Regulations, 2008 on February 26, 2026.
The 104.73 km pipeline has a provisional capacity of 2.428 million metric standard cubic meters per day (mmscmd) (including provisional common carrier capacity of at least 0.607 mmscmd). It has an economic life of 45 years and is expected to operate till March 31, 2031.
The comments/views are to be submitted to the Secretary, PNGRB within 15 days from the date of issue of the PCD, i.e by March 13, 2026.
