About six firms have submitted bids for laying, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and associated works of steel pipeline for Swarnrekha River Crossing at Jamshedpur geographical area (GA) for city gas distribution (CGD) network in Jharkhand. These include Aneri Construction Private Limited, Enerinfra Private Limited, G L Golden, Kaveri Energy Private Limited, Mansi Ganga Builders and Engineers Private Limited and Rudra Gas Enterprise Private Limited. Bids for the same were invited by GAIL (India) Limited in September 2025.
The scope of work involves complete installation of the carrier pipeline for the Swarnrekha River crossing and other locations using the approved HDD method and the Open-Cut method, including all associated activities, restoration, and installation of permanent markers, as per specifications, drawings, applicable codes, and instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
The duration of the contract is five months.
GAIL (India) Limited is implementing the project for CGD at Jamshedpur GA in Jharkhand. Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited has been appointed as the engineering project management consultant (EPMC) for the project.
