In a notable development, IRM Energy Limited has signed agreement with Shell Energy India Private Limited for purchase of 12,321,200 million metric British thermal unit (mmBtu) regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for a period of five years.
IRM Energy is a provider of energy solutions, committed to supplying safe, sustainable, and cost-effective natural gas to industrial, commercial, and residential customers, as well as compressed natural gas (CNG) for the transportation sector. It has been authorised by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to lay city gas distribution (CGD) infrastructure across its authorised geographic areas (GA) in Gujarat, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Daman & Diu.
