In a notable development, Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has signed gas sales agreement (GSA) with Simplast India Private Limited for supply of industrial piped natural gas (PNG) in Cheyyar, Tiruvannamalai city gas distribution (CGD) network in Tamil Nadu.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has authorised Megha Gas to lay CGD infrastructure in 62 districts across 22 geographical areas (GAs).
