Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has increased the domestic prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 1.5 per kg and piped natural gas (PNG) by Rs 1 per standard cubic meter (scm) in Mumbai and adjoining areas, with effect from July 9, 2024.
The revised CNG price stands at Rs 75 per kg while PNG stands at Rs 48 per scm.
The prices have been increased to meet the additional cost associated with importing natural gas.
