Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has reported 9 per cent increase in net profit in the fourth quarter of financial year (FY) 2023-24. The net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 4.33 billion as against Rs 3.97 billion profit in the fourth quarter of FY 2022-23.
The revenue from operations witnessed 2.26 per cent decrease from Rs 40.56 billion to Rs 39.64 billion during the period under consideration.
The total sales volume stood at 3,084.47 million standard cubic meters (mscm), compressed natural gas (CNG) volumes at 2298.24 mscm and piped natural gas (PNG) volumes at 786.2 mscm during the January 2023- March 2024 period.
IGL is an Indian natural gas distribution company that supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in Delhi-national capital region (NCR) and its neighbouring cities.
