In a recent development, Indian Oil Adani Gas Private Limited has inaugurated piped natural gas (PNG) supply to Indian Air Force (IAF) quarters in Sector 28, Chandigarh under the National PNG drive.
The National PNG drive was launched by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) in collaboration with city gas distribution (CGD) firms to foster widespread adoption of domestic PNG and broaden the consumer base across various segments of the population. It will focus on areas with existing or upcoming gas pipeline networks. CGD firms will conduct various promotional activities, door to door campaigns, road shows to encourage and enrol customers for PNG adoption.
IOAGPL is a joint venture company of Indian Oil Corporation Limited– a Maharatna Company of Government of India and Adani Gas Limited, a leading city gas distribution company and part of Adani Group.
